Privacy Policy — Time Arrow

Last updated: 5 September 2026  ·  Applies to the Android app com.salamanderman.timearrow

Time Arrow has no accounts and no sign-in, and your game progress never leaves your device. The game offers optional rewarded video ads, supplied by Google AdMob. Ads never play by themselves. When the ad SDK runs, Google may process your device's advertising identifier and technical data so it can select and measure those ads. We never receive any personal information about you.

1. Who this is from

Time Arrow is developed and published by Salamander Man. For any question about this policy, or about the app, write to s.mokareb@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We — the developer — collect nothing. We operate no server, receive no data about you, and have no analytics. We cannot identify you, contact you, or see anything you do in the game.

Google AdMob processes some data so optional ads can work. Rewarded video ads never play by themselves. They only start after you tap a reward button (daily bonus, shop Shards, double Shards, skip level, Wave Defense revive, or world-complete bonus). The AdMob SDK is still present in the app, and after any required consent it may process:

Google uses this to select, cap, measure and prevent fraud on ads, and — where you have permitted it — to personalise them. Google acts as an independent controller for that processing. Their handling is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the AdMob privacy documentation.

If you never tap a reward button, no rewarded ad is shown. The rest of the game, including all 80 Classic levels and both arcade modes, works without watching an ad.

3. Information stored on your device

So that you don't lose your progress between sessions, the game writes a single record to your device's local app storage. It never leaves your phone.

What is storedWhy
Which levels you have unlocked and how many stars you earnedTo resume where you left off
Your best arrow count per levelPersonal best tracking
Arcade records (best Zen streak, best wave, best score)Personal best tracking
Shards, purchased upgrades, and the arrow trail / bow accent you equippedTo keep what you unlocked
Your sound, music, volume, haptics and ad-consent settingsTo keep your preferences

This record contains nothing that identifies you. It is stored under the key timeArrow.v4 in the app's private storage area, which no other app on your device can read.

How to delete it

4. Permissions the app requests

PermissionWhat it is used for
VIBRATE Short haptic feedback when you fire an arrow, hit a target or take damage. You can turn this off in Settings.
INTERNET Used to load a rewarded video ad when you request one, and for the ad SDK's required consent and measurement traffic. The rest of the game runs fully offline.
AD_ID
(com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID)
Added by the Google AdMob SDK so it can read your device's advertising identifier when serving an ad.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, files, or any other sensitive permission.

5. Advertising

Time Arrow shows rewarded video ads only. There are no banners, no interstitials between levels, and no ad that plays without you asking for it. Optional reward buttons appear on the title screen, in the shop, after clearing a level or a world, on the Classic skip control, and on the Wave Defense breach screen. Declining costs you nothing: the entire game is completable without ever watching an ad.

Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. See section 2 for what they process.

How to limit ad personalisation

6. Purchases

There are no in-app purchases. Shards are an in-game score that can only be earned by playing or by optionally watching a rewarded ad. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, and cannot be transferred or redeemed.

7. Children

Time Arrow is not directed at children under 13 and is not listed in Google Play's Designed for Families programme. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that raises a concern, contact us at the address in section 12.

8. Third parties

The app includes exactly one third-party SDK: Google AdMob, for optional rewarded video ads. There are no analytics providers, no social logins, no cloud save service and no other SDK of any kind.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense used by the CCPA/CPRA. Serving a personalised ad may nonetheless count as "sharing" under some readings of that law; resetting your advertising ID or switching off ads personalisation in Android Settings is the effective opt-out, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where the ad SDK surfaces them.

9. Data security

Your saved game never leaves your device and lives in the app's private storage, protected by Android's normal per-app sandboxing. Ad requests are made over an encrypted HTTPS connection by the Google AdMob SDK. We hold no server and no copy of anything.

10. Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, portability and erasure under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and similar laws apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none — the only data that exists on our side is nothing at all, and the save file on your own device, which you can inspect, reset or delete at any time using the steps in section 3.

For data processed by Google in connection with ads, exercise your rights directly with Google using the controls in Google My Ad Center and the advertising-ID controls in Android Settings. You can also write to us at the address in section 12 and we will point you to the right place.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page changes with it, and any change that expands what the app collects will be published here before the version that makes the change is released.
